Lake Erie Paddler will offer standup paddleboard rentals in Lorain, Ohio, Lakeview Beach Park and other locations available at 1-hour, 2-hours, Full Day, and Season Pass levels. Rentals will include a quick intro lesson on how to launch in the water, get started paddling, stand up and balance, and continue to paddle. We envision the following pricing scenario:

• 1 Hour – $20
• 2 Hours – $30
• Full Day – $50
• Season Pass – $250

The pricing is subject to change depending upon market conditions and demand.

Lake Erie Paddler has been approved as the local supplier of Surftech standup paddleboards. This is a prestigious honor as Surftech is the leading supplier of standup paddleboards and we will have an exclusive relationship with them in this region and will give paddlers access to SUP board rentals made by the leaders of quality in the industry.

Standup paddleboarding is currently the fastest growing water sport in the world. SUP is already popular in places like Hawaii’s North Shore, Laguna Beach, and Rio de Janeiro, and the sport is now finding its way to the Midwestern states and Eastern U.S. coast. Lake Erie Paddler is going to be a major contributor to the growth of the sport of standup paddling on Ohio’s “North Shore,” throughout Northeast Ohio and the Great Lakes region, and beyond.

The best way to bring the sport to the people is to set up shop right on the beaches to make access to the sport easy and convenient. Lake Erie Paddler will provide rentals to beach-goers and water sport enthusiasts.  Rentals will be available at Lakeview Beach Park in Lorain, Ohio and the Black River, with more locations to come.
